Holiday in a Franconian Country House
The Straub family invites you to stay with us in our converted country farmhouse
located in a delightful rural setting only 10 km from “Rothenburg ob der Tauber”
Although the farmhouse itself dates from the 19th century the guesthouse
addition was constructed in 1998 in traditional Franconian half-timber style using non-allergenic natural materials throughout. Massive timbers and oak furniture give a
traditional farmhouse ambience.
Quiet enjoyment of your stay is guaranteed as there will be no other guests.
The guest house accomodation includes
- in the ground floor:
- large entrance with wardrobe
- separate storeroom
- in the first floor:
- sitting-/dining-room with SAT-TV, radio, telephone
- kitchen with dish washer, stove, microwave/oven,
refrigerator/freezer
- bathroom with shower and toilet
- small bedroom with 1 single bed
- in the 2nd floor:
- 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each
- bathroom with shower and toilet
The house is completely equipped with dishes, towels and bed-linen.
Young children are catered for with extra beds, high chair, wireless baby monitor etc.
The farmhouse is set in 1 hectare of land and is completely fenced.
Somewhere in
the extensive garden you are sure to find your favourite corner for playing, reading or relaxing.
Just outside the garden gate the Nature Reserve „Frankenhöhe“ awaits
you - an „Eldorado“ for cyclists, hikers, horse riders and nature lovers.
